What Would You Like to See in a Pirate Campaign Setting

I like the idea that the PC's ship is as much of a character as they are. It should be vividly described and have interesting or unique features, along with a pithy name. After all, if they're going to spend a lot of time on the ship, it needs to be a robust setting.

A really good sea serpent / giant squid / giant octopus solo encounter.

Really nice (but clean and simple) terrain rules for swinging on ropes, fighting on rigging, etc.

A swashbuckler class, basically feeling the lightly armored defender niche (since dragging around heavy armor is thematically inappropriate and not so smart when you can drown so easily).

A nice set of iconic sea monsters.

The question is prety straightforward. I'm working on a pirate adventure themed campaign setting under the GSL. So I'm curious as to what people would like to see in such a supplement.
