Oh, why do that? Then you can't see into the horrificly twisted minds that make up ENWorld. How could you give that up?

Really? I loved Pump Up the Volume.
Wow, someone else that has seen the movie! Are two allowed in one place?

Anyway, I came back to this thread because my sig changed. I'm now also giving a shoutout to LEW via my (brand new) character.

I've seen it too. I used to work in a video store back in the day and I was working there when this came out. I turned a few of my coworkers onto it also. It's been a long time since I saw it though and I'm certainly in no position to be spotting quotes from it.

Sorry, we are talking about the reasonably popular Christian Slater movie, right? Wasn't that, like, a huge hit? Didn't, like EVERYONE see that movie?

Pump Up The Volume?

Everyone I know saw it, I'm pretty sure.

Checking boxofficemojo reveals that it hit 800 theatres at its widest release and did $11 million -- it peaked at number 12 in North America in its third or fourth week of release. So it wasn't by any stretch a big hit, but it certainly isn't very obscure a movie.

Wow, maybe the people in my area are just weird because everyone here is always like, "... What movie? Do what? No, never heard of it."
