It's already done, and currently available on Steam! We've seen D&D + Clue, D&D + Monopoly, and D&D + Magic the Gathering. The time is ripe for the biggest D&D gaming crossover of them all:
D&D + D&D
A D&D themed version of D&D. It's a sure-fired winner!
Oh I do. They would make a ton of money, and then they would hand it all over to Square Enix.D&D + Final Fantasy XIV = $$$
I legitimately do not see how this wouldn't be a huge money-maker for WotC.
5E already is the MCU of RPGsD&D+MCU.
Not "Superhero D&D!" or something similar, but what the MCU did that actually makes it interesting: Mixing Genres.
Iron-Man: Prototypical Marvel Superhero movie. No Frills. Just kinda basic.
Thor: Marvel Superhero movie + Fantasy heroes.
Captain America First Avenger: Marvel Superhero movie + Period Piece.
Avengers: Back to Marvel Superhero movie, but with a new massive team up concept.
Captain America Winter soldier: Marvel Superhero movie + Political Action Thriller.
Guardians of the Galaxy: Marvel Superhero movie + Sci Fi Adventure.
Ant-Man: Marvel Superhero movie + Heist Film.
Black Panther: Marvel Superhero movie + Macbeth + Afrofuturism.
Doctor Strange: Marvel Superhero movie + Indie Arthouse High Concept piece.
Shang Chi: Marvel Superhero movie + Martial Arts Fantasy Epic.
D&D War Movie
D&D Heist Flick
D&D RomCom
D&D Pirates
D&D Political Action Thriller
So many options but they always stop at "D&D" and wind up making a generic fantasy adventure with a few D&D trappings tossed over it.
Im holding out hope. Hopefully it will come to consoles, though.we have the baldergate 3 thing as well but that is still in early access.
If you get backing, I’ve already got some titles and “plots” in mind…D&D porno film. Acting will be better than any of the other films.
