I owned B1 and B2. I used B1 as the lead off to my longtime 1e campaign which then headed to hommlette. First module I ever ran and I had a good experience running it as a young first time DM.

I love the Roghan and Zelligar stuff, the classic dungeon explorations (except for the empty rooms to waste time and generate wandering monster rolls), the cool magical pools. I remember using troglodytes as my stock humanoids a bunch there.

I also really like the Hackmaster conversion which has more Zelligar and Rohan stuff to discover and a cool story of their orc slaves realizing they are free and raiding the armory and liquor stores and militarizing as mean drunks. A bit too much crap humor and pc harassment built in but a lot to like overall for me.

I have run only the first 5 adventures in the list, so my vote isn't fully valuable... but I have to go with Horror on the Hill, just because it simply happened to turn out a more fun time, but who knows whether it was really because of the module or the player group.

Jr's a goid module imho. B2 gets a lot of votes because so many played it.

B4 &5 are better imho.

So far, "The Keep on the Borderlands" is the clear favorite, followed by "The Lost City" and "In Search of the Unknown."
