I keep telling Dad, leave the camera at home, but he wants to catch all those special moments....
I mean, uh, most of the original Hitchcock movies are great and involve crimes and the attempts to cover up crimes.

Finally got around to seeing Fargo the other night. Absolutely wonderful movie. I was totally captivated by Maggie. I can see how the actress won her Oscar for that portrayal. I love films like that, where the inevitable slide of events overtakes people. Everything is cool right up until the cop stops them for not having plates...

I want to give more props to Heat and Heist. Mamet's writing is great, as is Hackman in the later film. Heat gives you Michael Mann's visuals and the only DeNiro/Pacino on screen scene ever.
I will also throw in Out of Sight. This is my favroite Sonderbergh film. Very good George Cloony, nice ties to Jackie Brown, J-Lo looks good and holds her own (although I still haven't figured out how a cop affords Dolce and Gabana suits), and a neat cameo at the end.
