D&D 5E (2014) What's your favorite race/class combination?

Wood Elf Druid. First, he fills you with arrows. Then, he disappears and turns the whole d*****d forest against you. And when you finally catch him, he turns into a bear and eats you.

I play a little bit of everything, but if my gaming friends popped in to this discussion, they'd probably say "useless oddball with hidden awesomeness".

Dwarf cleric - the grumpy healer who, while not the *nicest* person to be around (gruff, generally no-nonsense) he will absolutely put himself at risk to keep the party on their feet, wading directly into melee if necessary (probably not the *smartest* either...)

I'm a huge fan of anything with a polearm. Fighter (any archetype), Paladin, Barbarian. I like the idea of a Blade-lock for this, but haven't done it yet.

Human, Half Elf, and Half Orc in 5e for this.

I've never liked the Elf race for a PC. Ever.
