Not sure if this is the right board, but I was just curious.
I would suspect the number of entries was up this year. Despite a very real market contraction in terms of dollars and sales, I wouldn't be surprised if the overall number of products *produced* rose yet again this year.Justin D. Jacobson said:Thanks for the info, Corthian.
Since we have an "insider" in the house: Do you know how many submissions there were this year? Not necessarily looking for a number, but I'm curious if the growth trend continued or if the (purported) market contraction caused it to level off from last year.

How many entries did you have to flip through this year?Crothian said:Well, i don't think that number of books produced and number of entries in the ENnies have much in common. Companies mostly send in a few of what they feel are the best, it's not like we get a copy of everything that was produced last year. We aren't even close to that.

What else were you doing when you posted this reply?Crothian said:We had a good mix of print and PDF books and entries. I don't know if Morrius wants us to realize actaully numbers, not that I think he'll mind but better to be safe then sorry.
