Since we have an "insider" in the house: Do you know how many submissions there were this year? Not necessarily looking for a number, but I'm curious if the growth trend continued or if the (purported) market contraction caused it to level off from last year.

I would suspect the number of entries was up this year. Despite a very real market contraction in terms of dollars and sales, I wouldn't be surprised if the overall number of products *produced* rose yet again this year.

A lot. I think we have about a 40% increase from last year. We contacted a lot more companies this year, so we have a great number of entries from a lot of different people.

Well, i don't think that number of books produced and number of entries in the ENnies have much in common. Companies mostly send in a few of what they feel are the best, it's not like we get a copy of everything that was produced last year. We aren't even close to that.

We had a good mix of print and PDF books and entries. I don't know if Morrius wants us to release actaully numbers, not that I think he'll mind but better to be safe then sorry.
