None of the Above - Amazed there is no option for "Not getting the Starter Set" or "No intention of getting the Starter Set"
I'm not saying the Starter Set is garbage or that 5e is garbage and that I'm not going to ever invest - I don't know yet if it is and if I'm not - Instead I am saying that I have no interest in their prefab adventures and so the Starter Set isn't for me. Why was this not even considered for an option?

Checked in with the excellent folks at Myriad Games just up the road a piece in Salem, and they say they'll have the set in on Thursday, so I'll be there bright and early for mine.

If they fail me, then I will wreak a terrible vengeance on this city! No one will be spared!

NO ONE!

(also, I'll keep my Amazon pre-order open, just in case.)

Obviously, I'm getting mine at my (and I do mean MY) FLGS. :D

Forcing myself self to wait until Thursday morning will be the problem!

For the record, I miss playing games in your store. Great shop, packed with lots of goodies.

Keep on truckin' thalmin. :)

I will get it on the 3rd, just not sure where. This is a WPN store near work. I will try them first (when I asked they weren't sure if they were getting it early). If not them then I will make a long detour on the way home that day get it at a store I know will have it.

(Also, for some weird reason the Starter Set seems to be the only 5E product Amazon.ca isn't carrying. If you can find it on there, feel free to prove me wrong.)

Actually, this has been a thing since 4e at least. Amazon.ca has never carried any D&D boxed set... And I don't know why. Luckily I have an Amazon.com account as well.

Me too. Every once in a while it's handy to order something from the States. Weird about Amazon.ca though; I hadn't realized it was boxed sets. I think they're still selling the 4E Red Box...which may be enough justification not to carry any more D&D boxes regardless of your opinions of 4E.
