Where are you going for Thanksgiving?

Thanksgiving!? Wasn't that last month. Oh, right, American Thanksgiving. Well, while you're stuffing your faces, I'll be at work :( Any chance on my becoming an honourary American for a day? I'll even refrain from saying 'eh' and watch American football.

Sure. But you are obligated to get up very early that Friday morning for "deal busters" deals to buy things you don't really want or need but are on sale. :p

As for me, I stayed home for Thanksgiving Day. For "Black Friday", I worked and had to deal with angry customers, some equipment was down. :(

For the first time in many years, we went nowhere, and had nobody over. In fact, it wasn't until Thursday morning that we realized we had NO food in the house and that no grocery stores were open.

Really?! I live in a small town and both of our grocery stores are open to 6 pm on Thanksgiving.

I don't know, I think just about everyone around here suspects Reveal. ;)
I think its because they think reveal can kill them with but a thought or an AK-47.

:( We got home yesterday from the trip to sad tidings. The moment we walked in the door, we noticed that the house smelled odd. My dad has a 120 gallon aquarium with over 150 African Cichlids that he's been breeding for years. When we walked into the livingroom, about 50 of them were lying dead at the bottom of the tank. They were all the biggest ones too.

We don't know what caused it. Our neighbor had just checked on them on Saturday and they had all been fine. The filter has a backup generator so it wasn't a power outage. Also, when fish die, they float. All of the dead fish were at the bottom of the tank or trapped within the rocks. It was wierd.

I'm sorry to hear that. I'm sure that is not what you expected when you got home.
