Level Up (A5E) Where to Explore Next?

So we have no plans beyond the next two hardcovers yet, but our thoughts have been along the lines of (a) cultural setting/sourcebooks written by people with those backgrounds and (b) planar stuff. As WotC has announced Planescape, the latter has become a little less likely .
You guys would do such a better job at that stuff than WotC will. Please keep a planar book in the mix.

The cultural sourcebooks sound awesome as well.

How about a book that expands the character origins material in the Adventurer's Guide? I would love to see new heritage gifts, cultures, backgrounds and destinies. :)

The Dungeon Delver's Guide on Kickstarter right now has new heritages, cultures, and backgrounds. And the Gate Pass Gazette contains that sort of material every month. That's definitely an area we're already expanding on! :)

What I meant with my post is new stuff for the origins section in the Adventurers' Guide. ;) New gifts for the Dragonborn, Dwarves, Elves, etc. Likewise new cultures and backgrounds for those heritages. ;)

Oh, yes, a MM2 penened by Paul Hughes is in the pipeline! We haven't announced it yet though, and it hasn't yet been scheduled in to start.
I knew he had plans for it, but didn't wanna say anythin' specific. But with this out in the world?

Time for me to get back to writin' monsters!

Ya know, maybe I should make a thread akin to Faolyn’s Bestiary for historical cultures. I’ve long had an inkling in that direction.

Aztec - Xochiyaoyotl (Flower War)
You may choose to add your Charisma bonus to your attack roll (minimum of 1). If a creature would be reduced to 0 hit points by such an attack, they fall to 1 hit point instead. You may use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, regaining all sent uses after a short or long rest.

Zulu - Impondo Zekomo (Horns of the Bull)
You gain an additional expertise die from flanking.

Abbasid - Bayt al-Ḥikmah (House of Wisdom)
You can cast Comprehend Languages as a ritual and you start the game with one masterwork book.

I think that would go against the naure of what heritages are intended to be -- the separation of parentage from culture.
Speaking of culture, what do you do if you want a character whose parents are from separate cultures? Character adopts a) his mother's culture, b) his father's culture or c) takes the best features of both.
