Where to put my level 8 bonus attribute point?

Do you use a two-handed weapon? If so, your strength bonus to damage will go from +1 to +3. If not, why not?

Because I fight on a mount, I use one hand for the shield I use and the other for the light lance. If I use a two-handed weapon, I'll have to lose my magic shield and at the moment I'll only gain 1 extra damage out of it. Between Smite, Spirited Charge and Divine Sacrifice that extra 1 point of damage isn't enough to make me want to lose +2 to my AC.

Take Int.

The extra 2nd level spell is very useful. You'd probably raise Int at some point anyway and it's best to do it as early as possible so you don't lose any skill points.

Str is always a good choice for melee types, but you need the extra 2nd level spell more at this point.

Don't go for Wis, because you probably won't ever have enough paladin levels to get the high paladin spells (level 3 & 4). Level 2 paladin spells aren't that critical. And you need two more paladin levels to get level 2 spells so you are in no hurry to raise Wis. You could raise Wis at level 12 if you plan on taking more paladin levels (Your DM must allow paladins to multiclass freely). If you ever make it that far. :D

Dex is not an option in your situation. Not that +1 AC, ref save and initiative wouldn't be nice, but Int and even Str would be better for your character right now. Saving throws are not big concern for you, because you're a paladin with decent all-around stats. Oh, I know, saving throws are never good enough, but still... ;)
