Where ya been? Tales of strange countries and hot chicks

Not if you're both underage. :)

Nope. It's still SR, depending on the state. There was an article I read a few months ago where these two kids, both 15 or 16 (not sure which one), had sex and she got pregnant. He was charged with SR because she was underage.

Because if you move your hand higher then I'm going to get really turned on and then I'm going to rip your clothes off and have sex with you and I'm not sure if you're ready for that and I know I'm probably not ready for that. So don't move your hand any higher or I'll kill you."
Who says relationships are confusing?

Then the age limit in that state much have been 16 (which is common, IIRC)--he was overage and she not. If you're both underage, who gets charged?

The boy did in that case. She was underage and he had sex with her so, according to the cops, regardless of his age, it was SR.

And they were the same age (probably 15). They were both underage which is what made it so screwed up.

Something else must have been going on. Why didn't his folks turn around and press charges against her? Because she got pregnant?

Dude--you're on vacation. Have you ever heard the phrase "one night stand?" :D
Consider that I was engaged at 15, and after that fell through, half a year later I started seeing another girl, got engaged to her when I was 16, married at 17, and she's the one I'm still married to.

I had heard the phrase "one night stand", but I wanted no truck with it. ;)

In Missouri if both are underage it is a misdemeanor for both. Pretty sure that's true in most states - it is in South Carolina, I can tell you for certain. Some states have some sort of thing where if more than two years separates the minors then it is a class of statutory rape again, but I don't know more details than that, and I may have that wrong so if someone knows please correct me. :)

I don't know all the details. All I know is that they were both underage and he was charged and she was not. I'll see if I can dig it up.

Well, I can't really contribute. The only exotic locations I've been in fall into three categories:

1) Places where my inability to hook up achieves truly magnificent results
2) Places where I've been too intoxicated to do much of anything except get punched in the face
3) Canada

So, like, I'm out.
