You either like a class or don't like it. In-between isn't a helpful answer in this scenario. And if you haven't yet enough information to vote, then you shouldn't vote at all.

:erm:

Meh - okay. It is your poll after all... However, I can't help but think that a more comprehensive look at each class would be more helpful than a simple "Did you like it? Check YES or NO."

Not definitive, maybe but it does prove one thing; there's definitely a leaning against the fighter.

Helpful to you, maybe. Again, nothing is stopping you from making your own poll.

I think it's remarkable how all the other characters are about equally popular. That's quite an achievement for Wizards: it looks like the other classes are all engaging.

That's a false dichotomy fallacy. If a class have 2 (or more) features, some people might like one, and dislike other. The answer might not be helpful for you, but it's his answer regardless. You don't like things "either-or". There's middle ground too.

As I said, not for the purposes of this poll there isn't. Don't like it, don't vote. Or make your own poll. Nothing stopping you.

Kzach is exactly right. For the purposes of his poll here it is entirely appropriate to follow his poll rules. Feel free to make your own poll to capture a different slant.

Thanks

I kinda hate to say it, but none. The resource play for every class is an immediate turn off and the unending ability to use magic just doubles it. Even the races fall into this unit-based powers thinking. This doesn't work at all for my game, which requires the players to intuitively learn these things on their own without being told.

A lot more of the math involved for each class and some of the abilities too will be far easier to convert though.

Can you clarify this? Specifically "resource play" "unit-based powers" and "intuitively learn ... without being told".

I can't tell which parts you're objecting to, except for the cantrips.
