Which do you prefer out of a Level 1000 characther?

The spreadsheet in the link which Impeesa mentioned it before. And believe me, I have a very hard time in those links! And I really don't want to start any drama because I use Final Fantasy items!

So, I have to ask. What, exactly, is your point in mkaing these posts? (I refer both to this thread at ENWorld, and the two threads on the WotC boards).

If you're going for "Hey, look, just for fun I statted out a 1000th level fighter!", well, unfortunately you haven't really finished the job. All we've gotten are the ability scores, and some magical items which aren't even fully converted over from Final Fantasy to D&D. Show me a complete character, with feats, skills, saves, attack sequences, and equipment, and I'll be impressed.

If you were hoping for "Look at my uber fighter which none of you can defeat!", I have to disappoint you there too. Your original version on the WotC boards (with the 3 Wisdom) could be beaten by a non-epic caster, as has been pointed out. Even your more balanced stat block wouldn't save you from a wizard or cleric of equivalent level, as there are just too many possibilities for long range, auto hit, no save, no SR, instant death spells at that level.

If you are simply wanting to compare your 1000th level character to others, again, disappointment for you. As should be obvious from the replies you've received, nobody plays D&D at this level, as it would be pointless (and hopefully you are aware that the posts here about "Plutonium Golems" are tongue in cheek). Roughly 95% of people who play D&D play at levels 1-20, and those who play into epic levels are in the 21-50 range for the most part.

I think I can also safely rule out wanting hints on playing the character. My impression is that you're not in some sort of 'D&D 1000' campaign, that you just made this character up simply to make him up. You've not mentioned a DM or other players that I recall.

So, is there a motivation I've missed? I don't want to automatically assume 'troll', so perhaps you're hoping for something else.

You made a comment on the WotC boards that you know D&D, but prefer other games. If those other games are the kind that support this kind of character, then I'd honestly suggest using those systems over D&D. Character creation and maintenance in the d20 system is burdensome enough at double-digit levels; it's ridiculous at quadruple-digit levels.

So what do you really suggested?! I don't post these just to make a fool of myself!

Well just to be honest! I just want create a final fantasy campaign by myself with Level 1000 characthers with the combitation of D&D! I really don't go with level 1 characthers, that just kid stuff. I prefer "beyond levels" characthers! Is there really unusual about that! Furthermore, you don't think I'm unusual posting this do you? Because I got other Level 1000 characthers that I haven't mention yet! And I'm also using the Final Fantasy prestique class as well! Does that make any sense! Because I know this is extremely lame and awkward!

Why 1000 though? why not 30, 100, 250, or even 2000??

I'm just curious why you settled on 1000

If you prefer "beyond level" characters, why even play with a level-based system like D&D? It seems a point-buy system like GURPS or Champions would suit you better, just set your character point total to something like 1,000,000. At this level, you're outside the bounds of traditional sword and sorcery; you're into superhero range. There are better systems for superhero games than D&D, IMO.

What is it about D&D that appeals to you, that makes you want to use it as a system rather than any other?

And if your intent is to create a Final Fantasy campaign world using D&D, then why not post a message saying "Hey, I want to create a Final Fantasy campaign with the D&D rules. Any suggestions? By the way, my concept requires the use of 1000th level characters." Instead, you just throw up a theoretical 1000th level fighter and say "Look!"

Let me ask you a question: is there anyone else involved in this "Final Fantasy 1000" campaign besides you at this time? You mention that you have other 1000th level characters, but no mention of other players, a DM, etc.

You asked what I would suggest. I would suggest that the d20 system is a poor choice for the type of game you want to play. You should look into either a much more freeform system, or one which can be set to the power levels you are wanting as a base (ie, where the "level one" characters are as powerful as the 1000th level chracter you've posted).

As to whether I think you're unusual... well, kind of. NOt that I haven't seen odd stuff here, but simply because I'm still having trouble seeing what it is you wanted to get out of posting this. Give me an example of the kind of reply you might have hoped to get.

Let's just say that I'm "wild" with high number!

Wild he/she says...then methinks a FF game will be more suited to your needs.

A character with a 1000th level and at the age of 20...states no growth in-between. What did they do, to get there?

Sorry for the nitpick, but I would like to see the history...

Just out of curiosity, what type of quests, monsters, etc would one face at that level. If you go by the DDG most deities are too low a CR to grant XP if conquered.

Probably a Paragon Pseudonatural Yondalla with 1950 commoner levels.
