Iin a Spelljammer campaign, I once played a CG illithid swashbuckler who had no psionic or magical abilities (he was considred a freak among his people).

Who hasn't played a tentacled-Douglas Fairbanks swashbuckler/pirate type! It's so passe...

Characters That I've Played:

1. Human Fighter - Mounted Archer

2. Human First Aid Kit (Cleric of Pelor)

3. Human Fighter - Light Flail + Shield + Ambidexterity + 2 Weapon Fighting (Shield of Bashing and +1 Ghost-Touch Lt. Flail)

I find security in mundanity.

WOO! long live halfling thieves! its actually uncommon in my group, to be a halfling rogue, a dwarf or 1/2 orc warrior... most of our group is human. Not to mention that one of our players ALWAYS is racist against the shorter races...

i've gotten close to a couple of them, but nothing exactly on the list: a dwarf Cleric / Fighter (with a 10 Charisma) and a halfling Bard.

I found this poll humorous.

My group has eight players not counting the DM. Seven of the characters are human. We have a bard, a mage, a priest, a paladin, a rogue, and a fighter. Each of the human PC's is multiclassed, but each is basically a focused multiclass progression.

Of the other two:

One is a dwarven Fighter/Ranger/Cleric/Devoted Defender (or some such) and the other is a Half Elven monk/fighter/rogue/wasp bounty hunter.
