Who Do You Want Illustrating 4th Ed.?

In 4e, they will get rid of silly images like this:
PHB35_PG43_WEB.jpg

And bring them into the 21st century. Give the Joan-of-Jett paladin a RAINBOW mohawk with tatoos on her face and an eyebrow ring. The armor will remain, as according to some here, it is actually authentic armor, similar to what Henry V's soldiers wore... on Star Trek or something...

Don't put words in my mouth; I said the Regdar or Jozan or whoever it was picture wasn't far removed from Henry V's troops and that it was nothing like Star Trek. I've never said anything of the sort about the Alhandra pic, as it's one of the worst ones in the original PHB.

If that's the quality of your argument... pretending I said things that I didn't in order to attack that instead of what I actually said, then you can very quickly look forward to not being taken seriously.

On the topic of armor, I know many of us are dying for a feasible-looking suit of studded leather armor. Not some black leather thing with sparse shiny bits.

epochrpg, you're on a roll so far, but can you please be so kind as to make a reference to anime and video games? My Trolling Grognard Bingo card is *this* close to being full!

*crosses fingers*

No intention to offend, it was said in jest. I take it back. I don't think anybody could even try to claim that Dame Joan-of-Jett's armor looks anything like real armor.

Secondly, I don't mind who's illustrating 4th Edition, as long as it moves away from the Chainmail Bikini idea of female armour. Something like Aribeth's armour from Neverwinter Nights should be the furthest we go down that route, unless it's important for the character herself to be dressed in such a way.
I'd say that Aribeth's armor is pretty much unacceptably retarded. Especially for a paladin.
