D&D General Who is this made for (Not Beginners) - the New D&D Starter Set

Read it... or better yet do some minimal research on the internet if suggesting something thats untrue is really all that important to you...if not maybe its better not to make uninformed assertions.
I based my assertion on the OP. I'm not going to buy something I won't use just so I can express an opinion about it that you can't invalidate.

The first three pages, prior to your first comment, include several posts of people SHOWING the play guide (rulebook) which the OP claimed not to exist. And multiple people pointing out exactly where the spell save DCs are specified on the character cards. 🤷‍♂️

You're free to express your uninformed opinions. We're free to value it less than others who have experience and less of an obvious grudge.

Hell man, you're already looking for some angle to complain about the mere suggestion that kids DM round robin. Clearly an insidious plot to erode the vaunted authority of the DM and replace them with AI.
Haven't said anything about AI. Not sure what that has to do with anything.

You are of course free to place any value (or lack thereof) on my opinions. I do wonder if you folks would be fighting me this hard, or at all, if I was positive in my opinion with the exact same lack of personal experience with the product? Why are negative opinions held to a higher standard? Where's the logic in that?

Yup. And the OP admitted the presence of the material, and so do I. At that point the OP reiterated the difficulty they and their players had in finding certain information even with the rulebook. Where am I making a false claim?

There is a general social disapprobation associated with behavior like that ENworld sanctions as "threadcrapping". Joining a discussion strictly to naysay is antisocial and brings people down. It also provokes arguments.

This particular instance is a little beyond some of the other ones, because some of the factual assertions in the OP were immediately shown to be objectively false, but once you chimed in with your negative opinions, they seemed to be based in part on statements of fact which had already been debunked. And it's an extremely strong temptation for most folks on the internet to argue with someone when it's a matter of demonstrable fact.

But... but if its my opinion it doesn't matter if its factually incorrect or not...

Opinion sure is doing alot of lifting in this converssation.

Again, where am I making a false claim?
If you are basing your claims about the product on the OP well that has been shown to contain multiple factual inaccuracies... You've chosen to comment while uninformed, its not my job to inform you.

Ok, you all have made your point. I apologize for irritating everyone. Enjoy.

Your first comment in the thread was a reply to a comment from the beginning of the thread taking the OP at their word before several folks pointed out the physical objects the OP missed, and taking a sarcastic shot at WotC. Your immediate next comment was a similarly antagonistic shot. You understandably gave everyone the impression that you were happy to ignore the existence of updated info and factual corrections for an excuse to take a meanspirited jab.
