I don't think it matters given his physical transformation into more of a Conan-type than a Gygax or Arneson-type.

This is no fantasy! I was totally serious when I asked this question. I know I am not the first person to think this story would make a great movie if it's done properly. A big budget is not needed. What is needed is a great script.

I'd rather a biopic about Ed Greenwood and Jeff Grubbs, creators of the Forgotten Realms, both have solid reps as nice guys and I suspect they have more interesting life stories.
