who wants to help a PbP n00b?

I've never played in a PbP game before but I really would like to give it a shot. I was wondering if someone could give me a quick rundown on PbP etiquette, how to find a game, the do's and don't's, etc.

Will have most of what you need to know.
To find a game look for recruiting tags here in the Talking the talk forum.
The DM will specify rules and methods. Just make a "count me in" post to whatever game looks intersting then workout a concept, or post a very loose concept with your first post.

Long story short: This forum is where games get started and planned. Playing the Game is where they get played. Jump in head first and follow someone else's lead and you should be fine. The FAQ is pretty helpful. Go at it.
