No, I'm pretty sure that Bilbo got that during the adventure. Maybe you mean Frodo?

And it was also a cursed item that contained a fragment of the soul of a dark god that when worn would draw the dark god's and his minions to your location.

So it's not like you were just throwing the thing on any time you wanted to peep in the girls room.

My apologies; I didn't mean to imply that you have, or ever shall, like paladins. Only that some people tend to like things until they "get popular" or whatever.
