Barhasts are awesome but the party killed the other goblin so, alas, I can't use it.
I decided that, since they both had trained wolves, that the goblins raised and trained wolves for their tribe. One had an interesting collar that let him command the wolves and train them more easily. His skill gave the goblin clout in the tribe but he kept the collar secret. The other one learned of the collar and became jealous and killed him for it, hoping to increase his status.
The collar works by giving advantage training an animal. It also lets you use a social skill other than Handle Animal and it lets you command an animal in combat, without needing to use an action. So, the goblin used intimidate to cow the wolves. So the next animal they put it on will not like it, because the collar is attuned to intimidate. If the druid or another PC learns how to use it, they can re attune it to persuasion(or Animal Handling).
