D&D 5E (2014) Why does VGTM has so little to do with FR?

As a consumer, I see "Volo's Guide to Monsters" and think Forgotten s. And I rate default FR (not some of the other separate settings in FR) a 0 an a scale of 1-10 of my favorite settings.

So when I think FR I think a product I don't want. And then it turns out there really isn't that much FR stuff in it.

Personally, I'd love a Big Book of Settings UA-style book with archetypes, backgrounds, and spells for all the various settings with a description of how the archetype/background fits into the setting it's built for and then a "how you can use it in your setting" as well.

Too much FR emphasis and it turns me away.
