D&D General Why Enworld should liberate D&D from Hasbro

I studied this market.
Dungeons and Dragons has less then an eighteen percent chance of surviving the next two decades without the loss of millions of games.
This is not a threat; this is the truth.
The powerful of this game destroy their own past time, stripping its resources for themselves.
Many unique playstyles will soon be unplayable due to corporate greed.

Yet here some are, posts and arguments worried about stopping me instead of stopping Hasbro.
Enworld has the knowledge to repair the rules, run the games, and punish the munchkins.
Enworld could save more games in a single year then WOTC could in a hundred.
WOTC is failing this game and its players. Thousands of games die every day while Enworld rule is resisted.
Or do those games not matter to you?
I'm sure thousands of games are started every day as well.

And those thousands of games that die... chances are the table continues to play, just with a different system. It's not like D&D is the only game out there.

Also, why should we punish munchkins? At most, they're hurting their own game, and maybe not even that, if they're enjoying the way they're playing.

That's the cover of a book that was for sale, Russ. What's the goal of a picture put on X, where all hope and goodness goes to die? There is a reason; I just don't know what it is. If it were Pride month or something, sure, I get it. But...why?
Is material depicting same-sex couples only allowed to exist during a single month of the year?

If there's a reason, it's almost certainly "if this is the type of game you want to play, you can play it using D&D."

Kind of like how all those pictures that TSR produced of men hacking apart monsters and women thrusting their chainmail'd bosoms at the viewer were there to say "if this is the type of game you want to play, you can play it using D&D."

Arguing moderation in-thread.
Mod Note:
The message that plain people don't have consensual relations and children is:
1) Demonstrably incorrect.
2) Insulting.

You have a choice: you can go for the trifecta and add, 3) Moderator actionable, or you can stop now.
Agree

Its also

4) not contained in my post at all

So the ENworld militia ready to march on WotC to liberate D&D yet?

I had a look around the house for weapons.

Best I can do is.
1 shortbow (0 arrows)
1 Filleting knife+steel.

I cant find the bow. Its somewhere in the basement iirc.

CR 1/8 probably 0. Grrrrr. Ive got a hiking stick improvised club!!!

An entirely munchkin group is harmless, except to the degree one or more of them may have learned that's an acceptable way to play that may well produce unpleasant surprises when going to another group.

A solitary munchkin in a group that doesn't roll that way, however, can be a brick in the functionality of the campaign for the other players. That's no different than any numbe of people who value their own playstyle over the overall fun of the group, though.
