Monks are the best!

Play a human monk with a Sacred Vow and a Vow of Poverty. At 15th level you get +6/+4/+2 to the three stats of your choice, +9 to AC (which doesn't take into account the monk bonuses or wis bonus), +4 resistance bonus to saves (which is really awesome considering the monk has 3 GOOD saves already--and he's probably gonna put a whole lotta stat points in Wis/Dex/Con), and 7 bonus exalted feats. Also, he doesn't need to eat, drink, or BREATHE.

"Oh, I think I'll walk to Evermeet today. Pass me that rock would you. I need the extra weight to hold me down."

Try doing that Ninja Boy.

What good is your fire, crazy pyromaniac?

Oh, I have improved disarm and deflect arrows. Whatcha gonna do now, silly little pirate!

Plus, all of the other characters NEED money. This monk gets by on his wits alone.

You will not find a more powerful character. Undisputed.

;-) :) =-)

Little gnome wizards turn silly ninjas and pirates into puppies and kitties with magic. Nobody suspects the little gnome wizard. Nobody.

And they have pointy hats, too. :]

Ninjas are flammable
Pirates are flammable
Monks who make silly promises are flammable
Gnome illusionists are flammable
Rogues are flammable
Munchkins are flammable
Core classes are flammable
Insane Fire-Mages are flammable - (but this is a benefit in their case)
Almost everything is flammable, and the people who aren't flammable are no fun.

Hey, neither pirates nor ninja are core classes! You guys are SO munchkin. :p

If you are only using the PHB then you are right. The Buccaneer and Sea Dog ARE core classes in Skull & Bones. ;)

The monk is PHB

Well, Monks ARE in the PHB, but I'll admith they're still munchkin. Thats why they're THE GREATEST POWER IN THE WORLD.

Especially if you use the Book of Exalted Deeds.

Actually, that's the first thing anybody's said that made me interested in that book...

Monks. Ninjas. Insane firethrowers.

And Pirates are pretty cool... better still with a monkey on their back or clambering all over their feat... :)

But I havn't seen any mention of the mighty Druid?

Getting away from all those city slicking types for the joys of the wilderness. Releasing the vengance of nature on whatever is currently annoying them. That's pretty darned sweet... The legions of animal followers are really useful. But the real bonus is the many forms they can take on - lots of fun. (altough it's probably best to gloss over the half druid/half sheep that we hide in the cellar. Just put it down to too much mead and leave it at that. I said LEAVE IT!). :D
