Will o' the Wisp invisibility

"Natural Invisibility (Ex): A startled or firghtened will-o'-the-wisp can extinguish its glow, effectively becomeing invisible as the spell."

That "as the spell" throws me off. Does this require a standard action? Can they attack while invisible? Does See Invisible or Dispel Magic apple?

Its an Ex ability so Dispel Magic does not apply. See Invisibility will since it doesn't care about the source of the invisibility. I assume that attacking requires the wisp to reignite itself (since the as the spell means it would break invisibility on attacking). For the same reason it seems to me that it would require a standard action to become invisible (that and Ex abilities unless specified otherwise take a standard action to activate).
