Willowhaunt's City of the Spider Queen

Tadius nods, "Well, we don't know where exactly the entrance is, as Wimzig mentioned. If you care to use your invisibility to look around, though, be my guest."

"That's a very logical and sound idea Master Bilix, and I would welcome, welcome warmly, your help in scouting out dangers ahead. Shall we accompany you relatively close by so your report may be made with aclarity and much swiftness?" Wimzig asks.

Bilix nodded, his excited twirls and turns evidence of his eagerness for the mission ahead. Yes yes! Why, without you there, those rascally elves would have free reign of the countryside, now wouldn't they? My being there would end up being pointless really.

Jenlan stood on his cushion again and gently guided the flapping dragon over to the side of his chair. I think we should make sure all of us are as inclined to take such risks. I for one feel it a venture worth undertaking. Perhaps we might be able to teach these evil ones some of their own tricks and surprise them ourselves. He gestured to the other gnome. Our gnomish friend here seems as though he would go, what say the rest of you?

Tadius nods, "If our task requires it, I wil certainly do what has to be done."

Cowan also nodded, "I am also willing to do what is neccessary. My only concern is that, unless I am misunderstanding, the Drow have not raided the area on any regular basis. It may be neccessary to move in and see what we can find, ourselves, rather than sitting back and waiting on them."

Randel Morn can barely contain his excitement, "Well, if you're all agreed to looking into this matter, I can have one of my best scouts bring you to the crypts tomorrow morning." His expression darkens a slight bit, "But, please, if they come back, do what you can to stop them. The safety of Daggerdale's people comes first. I won't have innocents dyingfor the sake of information-gathering. If you can agree to that much, you have yourselves a job."

With a smile, Tadius agrees, "Yes, of course. Our main purpose is to protect the citizens of Daggerdale. I will certainly attempt to prevent innocents from dying."

"Indeed, it wouldn't do for the inexperienced to be hurt. That's why you call in experts, we're expendable, foolish, and we work for gold," Wimzig says, stroking his beard. He has a mischeivious expression on his face.

Jenlan shook his head at Wimzig's reply. I need no gold Sir. This I will do gladly in defense of those who cannot defend themselves.

Mutterings highlighting the refusal to accept gold for this quest came down from the rafters in Draconic.

Shakti releases a slow breath, taking in the whole exchange of conversation, from the odd pair of gnomes and their even more astoundingly odd companions, to the serenely blue humanoid, and the sturdy looking human in worn gear. She smiles, her round cheeks drawing her lips upwards revealing the soft glow of white teeth, astounding, they are, she figures to herself mentally.

She breaks her own silence, "I shall go as well," only to return to it as abruptly.
