Willowhaunt's City of the Spider Queen

Morn smiles broadly. "Well, then I suppose it's settled!" he proclaims almost before the other speakers can close their mouths. He jumps into the next sentence almost as abruptly, "I'll have my best trackers and guides ready to escort you there, first thing in the morning."

Speaking of the morning, what about tonight? Some lodgings and a fine meal would go down well to help fuel us on our way th' morrow!

Jenlan's cocky grin smears itself across his face and he looks to the others gathered for backup.

"Yes, I could go tonight. I don't know if the rush is necessary, but I suppose the sooner we go the better." Tadius stands up, ready to go somewhere, no matter where it be.

"I also feel that it is best to begin tonight, if possible," Cowan nodded to the others before looking back to Lord Morn, "I believe it could only do us good not to wait. The thought of Drow is uneasy enough...and if another raid occurs tonight while we sleep, I would not be able to forgive myself."

"Aye, sooner the better, much better. I don't care, not at all, to give those raiders the tiniest chance of making another raid," Wimzig says stubbornly.

"Let us go then. There is no reason to wait," with that, Shakti rises, and walks over to Morn and thanks him properly with a warm kiss. Turning back to her new companions, "let us begin our travels together," she says brushing a stray bang from her face.

Morn nods. "Alright, you should be able to make by nightfall if you hurry.
I'll have one of my scouts ready to show you the way within the hour. Before you go, do you have any other questions?"

"No, not from me at least. If we have an hour, I'd like a quick drink of water or something, though." Tadius gives a smile.

Yes. Drow are known for their ability to see in the dark. Some of us here are at a loss when it comes to that particular ability. Would you happen to have any devices that could offer us aid, so we wouldn't be at a dis-advantage this night? He suddenly held up a hand to make sure none others spoke up before he was finished, thoguh he wore a genuine and warm smile. And I wasn't refering to lanterns or torches! The bard chuckled.

"I might be able to find a Wizard who would be willing to share a spell of that sort with you, but I am at a loss for any other solutions. We are not a very wealthy village, and lack the enchanted equipment that you might be able to find in the bigger cities."
