Jhary notices a small needle trap that looks like it is designed to stab anyone unlocking the door, it may be poisoned. He succeeds in disarming the trap but is unable to unlock the door. Aego examines the Kobold closely and it is not breathing. He can retrieve his dagger but it is very bloody. Dorana and Luis see no more guards. Luis, seeing Jhary fail at unlocking the door says, "Say there Jhary, good job with that trap but looks like you failed on the lock. Let me borrow one of your lockpicks and I will give it a go."

Looking at his bloody dagger in disgust, Aego wipes the blade clean with the dead kobold's clothes. It's not as easy as he thought, and soon there are many stains on the outfit and still a lot left on the weapon.

The elf sighs, then looks at the ragged clothes on Luis. He hesitates, then thinks better of it.

"Does anyone have a piece of cloth?" the wizard asks softly, leaning on his staff with his other arm.

Jhary smirked and watched Dorana procure the key and the elf, Aego, futily wiping at his dagger. The hobbit shrugged at Luis, stepping to open the door to Bobby Bard's residence.

(Jhary will look then move through the door, if clear, stealthily. He'll continue to search for traps or signs of other kobolds, etc.)

You enter a 10'x10' room with a spiral staircase leading down. The staircase is clear of Kobolds. You descend the staircase and end up in a 20'x20' room. There is a door in each of the four walls. The doors have no visible handles or keyholes. There is a small pile of trash in the SouthEast corner.

Aego moves as quietly as the halfling as he surveys the rooms, paying particular attention to the handle-less doors.

Then the elf moves up to the trash in the corner, and with his staff starts cautiously looking through it.

"Nasty Kobolds mucking up a nice clean interior design like this...quite the shame. Tsk tsk." Jhary remarked as he walked around the perimeter of the room, carefully examining the doors, ceiling, floor, attempting to find more devious traps and such.

"Which way shall we go, friends? I do hope we don't run into an army of the buggers."

The hobbit gritted his teeth.
