Will's AD&D 2nd Edition - Who knows where it will go!

Jhary happens to play the notes in the order CBA. The door to the East pops open revealing a 20'x20' room. From your vantage you can see there are two doors on the East wall of that room. There are two Kobolds in the center of the room choking each other. They appear to be statues made of stone. On the floor beside them are some dice and a small pile of copper pieces.

Jhary looked at the door and raised his eyebrows as he peeked inside. He nodded at Dorana in agreement.

He quickly tried all combinations of notes beginning with "B" and looked at the western-most door.

If that doesn't work, he starts to go through all other combinations he HASN'T run across in his playing

The little white mouse nodded his little head in agreement at the playing.

When Jhary plays the combination BCA the door to the West pops open revealing a 20' x 20' room. From your vantage you can see there are two doors in the Western wall of that room. The room appears empty.

”So which one of you two is going to get that key, and who is going to explore one of the other rooms?” says Aego to Luis and Jhary in particular, implying a continuation of the match between them.

”Pretty sure the key won’t come to life and attack you...”

Jhary crept extremely suspiciously into the room with the key, carefully examining every surface, stone, and detail for another devious trap.

Jhary stooped low to examine the key itself as well, making sure there were no wires or pressure plates.

If and when it seemed safe, he gingerly lifted the key, keeping his eyes on the doors beyond.

The little white mouse squeaked, causing Jhary to sweat even more profusely.

"I know! I know..." The hobbit mumbled with gritted teeth, as if in response to the rodent.

A dagger that Jhary did not see falls from the ceiling toward the halfling. Startled, Jhary clutches the key in his hand and dodges to the side, the dagger narrowly missing him. The dagger seems to be made of glass and looks to have something engraved on it. Oddly, it did not shatter on contact with the floor.

"Good job!" says Aego from the safety of the hallway, then turns to Luis.

"See how he did that? That's some big competition you're up against..."

With a grin, the elf strides confidently into the room to study the glass dagger that narrowly missed Jhary.

Jhary swiped up the glass dagger and tried a pose that was supposed to mean "nonchalance" but instead looked like "lucky."

The musical hobbit stared at the dagger and the etchings on it, then looked at the key in his other hand. He whistled a tune popular a few years back in the Citystate of the Invincible Overlord.

If he can't read the inscription on the glass dagger, Jhary tosses the thing casually to Aego.

The hobbit continued to look around for keyholes to match the key.

The little white mouse boldly ran down Jhary's leg and sniffed around the room.
