Witch hunter prerequisites: correct or not?

Are the prerequisites for the witch hunter in OA correct?

One of the prerequisites is being able to cast magic circle against Taint or magic circle against evil. A shugenja must be at least 6th level to be able to do that, and yet, the example mentions "Kuni Osari, a 3rd-level shugenja/4th-level ranger/1st-level witch hunter.

Should the prerequisite perhaps be protection from Taint/evil instead of magic circle?

As far as I can see, the errata says nothing about this.

i think the example character, Kuni Osari, must be written incorrectly. because the knowledge (arcana or shadowlands) requirement is so high at 10 ranks, the ability to cast a 3rd level spell doesn't seem unreasonable to me

actually, if you look at it just based on the skill requirement, the example character is even more wrong, since knowledge skills aren't class skills for a ranger...

A Shu3/Rgr4 can easily have 10 ranks in knowledge (Shadowlands), even assuming she's not a Crab (which she is). Even though knowledge (Shadowlands) isn't a class skills for rangers, it is for shugenjas (and Crabs).

Also, a requirement of 10 ranks sort of implies that the class could be taken after 7th level. But if the magic circle requirement is correct, that won't be possible, because a Shu6/Rgr1 will only have BAB +4 and she needs +5.
