Even the Outcast Specialist that I mentioned previously only allows continued advancement as a Sorcerer. It does offer bonus spells and feats as a Specialist Wizard, though.

There are certainly reasons to multi-class as a Sorcerer/Wizard, but they'd have to be role-playing reasons. Mechanically-speaking it's an uninspired choice. Then again, this IS a roleplaying game, not miniature wargaming, so role-playing reasons are totally valid motivations for making such a choice.

But since the OP is asking for feats, items etc that are 'good' for him I don't think role playing was the first rational to choose this combo.

I would go with the undead level-draining idea if I were foolish enough to do suck a combination for fear of running out of spells (which, as others have demostrated, you will anyways). Although I would say you could go either wizard or sorcerer - both classes have their advantages but multi-classing them negates the best of both. :\

If you're worried about the wight killing you, you can always get up to level 9 and take Undead Leadership, and get a Wight cohort to drain away those Sorcerer levels. Of course, that would mean existing as a Wizard3/Sorcerer3 for 3 more levels. Perhaps your best bet is to kill yourself violently and then come back from the dead as a revenant to hunt yourself down for the terrible crime you committed against yourself? Or just keep playing until the party disowns you for not helping, and then make a new character. No offense, but given your reasons for multiclassing (wanting more spells), you failed to live up to your goal, and now your character is basically a waste of the Int16 Cha16.

Of course, if you chose this combo because you just wanted to roleplay this concept (a character so useless to his party that he makes Elan from OOTS look like a productive team member, but conflicted about his innate magical talents warring with his book-learning to the point that it has melted his mind and made him useless at both), that's fine too, but then I doubt you'd be on the rules forum asking for help to max out your character.

bua....

buuuuaaaaa..... I think im going to cry!!! :( nobody likes mi character!!!! I also realize that almost anybody likes sorcerers, but anyway im going to explain my *little* reassons...

I love playing weak characters, and so I hate massive damage and cheap magic, so mi favorite spells are... level 1 spells (except magic missile, i like to roll to hit!).

So the first time I got great rolls creating my character I decided to try my first multiclass.

In our adventures we never get really difficult encounters, just a lot of little monsters until the end that we get the big monster, but in the way there are places to waste spells (read magic, detect magic, identify...) and we are a lot of curious so we always check everything...

The concept of the character its a annoying smart gal, very, very logical and scientific with a dark side that comes from her sorcerer side, probably she its somehow possesed by a lesser demon (probably an incubus) and thats by she gets natural spell, so I talked to the master and in a few levels he will allow my to continue as an incubus (split personality and sex!! :o ) following the savage species chart for it.

But I need to wait some levels and thats by I choose that multiclass.
If somebody wants to see my character its in this direction (slow) (please feedback!)

And by the way I *DONT* what to be drained by any ghost (THATS NOT AN OPTION I LIKE MY CHARACTER!!!)

Practiced Spellcaster would definitely be the way to go.

I can see having a level or three of sorcerer and then moving into wizard being kind of nice. All those pesky spells you always memorize as a wizard because you just might need them (read magic, detect magic, comprehend languages) but oftentimes run out of or have extras left over would be your choices for sorcerer spells. You can then focus on planning your wizard spells out better for great diversity. Slightly weaker potential, but really good at being prepared.

I love playing weak characters

Ah! Then disregard my previous comments. In multiclassing Wiz/Sor, you have pretty much made the best selection in all of Dungeons and Dragons if this is your goal. Hmm...the problem with almost everyone else's advice (like Practiced Spellcaster) is that it is going to make you unhappy in the end. Why? Because Practiced Spellcaster is going to make your spells do more damage, and increase your caster level, making you unhappy.

Your best bet is probably to follow Particle Man's advice and multiclass into both psion and wilder, ensuring that you never have to deal with high level spells.

As for feats, the Player's Handbook has some real gems that you should take. I suggest taking Alertness as soon as possible, since it is unlikely to make your character too powerful for your liking, since you already have that ability whenever your familiar is around. Also, Deft Hands is a good choice. Any of the +2/+2 skill feats would also be good, except Magical Aptitude, and Skill Focus in cross-class skills also shouldn't be a problem for you. To emphasise your dark nature, get Deceitful, and then buy cross-class ranks in Bluff and Intimidate.

As for spells, Animate Rope won't disappoint you by being too powerful. Unfortunately, many of the other 1st-level spells can be annoyingly strong in many situations, but fortunately, the 2nd-level spells include such useful sundries as Leomund's Trap, which won't be too powerful unless your DM throws lots of NPC thieves against you who try to steal your possessions.

Speaking of possessions, Ring of Clumsiness, with its 20% spell failure, might help if you are getting off your spells too often. Of course, its cheaper to just wear Chain Shirt to get the same spell failure, and it shouldn't make you any stronger than a normal Mage Armour.

Random tangential question: Is Spanish your first language? I ask because using "anybody" in place of "nobody" seems to be common among Spanish friends of mine, and I saw you use the same idiom.

he he... yes spanish its my first language, but i need to make something clear... I like weak characters but not useless ones! I just dont like using the "best" spells, (the ones that almost anybody uses (now I use it right?? because nobody means no one...) but I want to help the group with something.
I like the idea of loremaster, it fits.
By the way my only skills are knowledges (I am a library rat (its that an english expresion for a person who studies a lot?¿?¿)

It seems to me the direction you like your character to go in is to have a lot of lower level "utility" spells and a lot of skills that the character is "o.k." at.

There were a lot of ways to do have done this and be a bit more effective. (Many Feats in the Complete Arcane allow you to cast several 0 and 1st level spells as spell-like abilities once per day) but its a bit late for that, and as said before, currently to make your character more effective, Practiced Spellcaster is the way to go (adds 4 to a spellcasting level up to your level)

However, might I suggest a Feat that allows you to take another favored class (I think there are one or two floating around), and pick up another Spellcasting Class without risking an XP penalty. A couple levels of Favoured Soul and you would have a arsenal of low-level spells. True! one-on-one a straight Mage will probably fry you, but you will have bunches more Utility Spells to play with, and that seems to be what you want.

I for one cant really knock it if you have fun with it...

LOL...

While not optimal, having taken a look at the character sheets made up for "Tessa", I'd rather have that character in my game then the Barbarian Goliath with Oversize Two-weapon fighting and Monkey Grip that a New Player tried to pass off the other day.

I can make plots for this character...Not just encounters...

I would however have some trouble scaling encounters for her...

I translate the letter so anybody can understand the concept, (very bad translation but use your imagination)
Dear friend: It is always is pleasing writting and to remember the incredible moments that we lived together in our youth, say hello to your wife Marta, and tell her that I hope to find free days in the school to be able visit you. The subject of my letter is to send you a student of my school mine who has demonstrated an unusual ability for the magic, its name is Tessa T. Bery, but the rest of my student nicked name her T2B, because her incredible talent for the logic and science. Tessa has shown several times its interest to be part of the educational group of the school that I teach, a proposal that makes me happy, but as you and I know, my old friend, my school cannot instruct on the precious lessons of the life. For that reason it would pleased me that you could welcome her in your trusteeship with your services in the city, services that are very appraised, but also very interesting for the education my young student, I know that soon you will consider a great aid. Tessa has a scientific attitude that surprises at a first moment, but goes to accompanied by a easy treatment, in addition to an analytical and intellectual capacity that without a doubt is not frequent in the young people of nowadays. Within its magical studies account with rare and interesting a duality, because after beginning its instruction in the arts arcanas the innate talent of the magic woke up, a talent that I have tried to harness in spite of my ignorance in the subject. A talent that as always you have known I distrust then its origin is in too many occasions an evil legacy, but that surely are my superstitions. As far as its specialty, Tessa, showed preference for the noble art of the Abjuration, to expenses of the Illusion and the Enchantment, two spheres too abstract for its skeptical and logical mind. Please take care of her and I hope she will be helpful.

I would follow the advice of others and find a feat that allows for a 3rd class and take Bard. Bard/Sorc's rock, especially if it's the "smart" hero you're looking for. Bards have a slew of useful and non-damaging spells, PLUS they can learn and use healing magic. Now if only there were a class/feat that allowed you to juggle spell slots around...

(and I'm sure there is, but I dunno where)
