I dunno, maybe its the fact that there are no links on that page, or perhapse the URL is on the ENWorld server, but I think RW could have done a better ruse.

You know of course that if this happened, it would be Microsoft Spellbook, featuring Domination, Grasping Hand, Disjunction, and Black Tenticles with Frontpage.

This would be fine but for having to learn a new version of the spells every other year and at a higher spell level to boot!

If you can manage to hack into Wizards' server, add some extra content, and get away with it, go for it. I tried for about half an hour to jury-rig a copy of their main page, but man, they've got a lot of little tiny things here and there, pics and tidbits. This was my best bet.

Personally, I had a special cleric/sorcerer that I'd like to immortalize. How does Namitlakinidurgalathion's Magic Missile sound? The only spell component required is to correctly pronounce her name.

Oh come now, you could have at least provided a link to the 'full article' . I think it would have been more effective to do the ENWorld main page with an announcement at the top and a thing explaining that the WotC web team is yet again behind schedual, but we have confermation from AV.

Actually, I heard that if you pay for it by Sunday night at midnight, getting one spell only costs $20. The catch is, you don't get to decide which spell. Let's face it, nobody wants transmute rock to mud named after their character. Well, someone is gonna get it. I paid my $20 already and got "Ahrim's Negative Energy Wave". Eh, it's okay. Anyway, this is interesting in that it also indicates they're going to put some spells in the new PH that are from other sources.
