Wolf people?

My girlfriend was telling me that there's a group of goth-like people who apparently believe they are wolves. They have meetings and howl-ins and go around in packs and other such fun. They even go so far as to walk around on tip-toes. She said that she heard they were called ferions or therions or something like that, but a google search came up empty. Has anyone heard of this particular sub-culture?

They would be therianthropes (sp?), or perhaps furries depending on what aspect of that subculture that happened to be into.

Last year there was a thread about the same kind of neurotics who believe they actually are vampires and thus suck blood (among themselves) and other such idiocies.

Perhaps she visited a LARP of werewolf players. :)

I was going to say - sounds like a few people got a little too "in to" a different World of Darkness game that one usually expects (Vampire being the most commonly identified game for "Goths who take it too seriously").

This is probably the situation. I know only of one person in a Vampire (WoD) LARP that actually thinks he is a vampire.

I knew a guy in college that thought he was a vampire as well. He even went so far to buy a coffin for his bed. Yeah...I was only over there once...
