Wotc art reused by Walmart('s Chinese Affiliate)?

Walking through Walmart, i noticed a toy with some very familiar art on the package.

And I could be wrong, but the other package's T-rex looks a LOT like some JP merch.

It wouldn't surprise me if they did. China has been very reluctant to honor patent/intellectual property laws of other nations.

I'm no expert, but does China have IP laws like we do? Is it a Berne signatory?

China is a Berne signatory and has IP laws on the books but enforcement does not come close to matching the rampant infringement that takes place.

Might have something to do with the fact that if you outsource to China, the regular deal is that they get your IP after 5 years in exchange for you using their slave labour
