WotC article on Races for Martial Classes...

Hehe!

Clearly that was an old 3.0 Dwarf that never heard about his update in 3.5. Poor fellow. He probably doesn't even use a Dwarven Waraxe.

It's things like this that make me wonder, seriously. I mean.. if I were working for WotC and my boss(es) said "Hey, Wayne, write a web article about the different races and how they would operate as martial classes" I'd--you know, at least make sure that I'm citing the correct rules.

It's not a big thing at all since I've forgotten that Dwarves don't suffer extra penalties, but still, things like this are annoying.

Skip the sage.

;)

Technically, Andy Collins is now "The Sage." Skip does seem to get his 3.0 rules and 3.5 rules mixed up quite a bit in previous articles; and don't forget, the editor of the article is almost as much at fault as Skip is for letting it slide through. However, what was that quote Dave Noonan used a while back? "Designers' heads are cramped with New versions of rules, old versions, and Versions that Should Not Be..." :D

Lol, I know. It's an old joke: "Skip the sage" isn't a description. It's an instruction.

:p

What's even funnier to me is that I took it as "instruction" and until just now missed the double-entendre. Darn, I'm slipping! :)
