WoTC Customer Service - now I'm ticked

I posted this on the WoTC boards but someone here might have had the same problem and be able to clue me in.

I just received a notice that my DDI auto renew failed.

I went to the WoTC web site, specifically the Customer Service page, and tried to select any of the tabs on the page (Email Us, Live Help, or My Stuff) and my browser locks in to a right now redirect loop that goes no where. This starts to annoy me. I think, hmmm, perhaps the page doesn't like Firefox, so I try IE and Chrome - same thing happens - annoyance is growing.

I went to my account to check my billing info. My payment information is correct but my billing address has been changed to the letter "a" and when I try to edit it I get an error message that says they are sorry but they cannot perform the selected action. This increases my annoyance further.

I then check to possibly manually renew and see that the price for an annual subscription is ~$71, my auto renewed price was ~$60.00

Did the price go up or do I now have to pay a higher price because it didn't auto renew? That ticks me off.

Has anyone else had this problem?
Does anyone have the email address for WoTC customer service?

Coupled with other things happening right now this might be the straw that breaks the camel's back on me being a DDI subscriber.

You're not alone. I went through a very similar trouble around the time that the early-adopter pricing expired. In my case it had to do with an email address that had changed in one part of the system but not another, and simply couldn't be updated. It's pretty typical of their rickety account management infrastructure.

I think that I replied to you on the WotC forums with the path to take to get at the WotC help system.

I have also passed your problems on via my contacts with WotC. This is not the first I have heard of this happening over the past day or two, and I am *not* happy with this.

Please let me know if you have any problems.

I can't promise anything, but I can try.

(The DDI issue aside, but referring to your above comment when trying to email them) -- I have the EXACT same issue for months when I try to use the wesbite to contact/email customer service. i went through all their help sites to try and resolve it but no luck at all.

After that, I tried to send a couple emails to wizardscusthelp, but those were never responded to (but then, my question emailed at that point was about resolving the etchnical issue so that i could contact them the 'right' way via the website, so maybe it got passed around a few hands and lost, who knows) ...

Yes you did - Thanks.
I was able to access the "Email us" tab after reading it.
This is the error message I get when trying to correct the screwed up billing address info.

"Error: We are currently unable to perform the selected action. Please accept our apologies for this inconvenience. We have been notified and are already working to correct this issue as quickly as possible. Please click your browser's back button and try this action at a later time, or take a different action. Error Number: SYS_000001"

I have a feeling I'm not going to get anywhere until after Thanksgiving.

The price was raised for everyone, however, so even if your auto-renew had worked you would have had to pay the higher price.

OK, if the overall price was raised that is less bothersome, but the real bummer in all this is now I can't access my Characters in the CB - this isn't helping my already less than favorable view of the CB right now.
