Also, it seems that WotC is having problems with Planescape and Birthright trademarks...

I suspect that if WotC does have a tabletop product related to Planescape in the works, it'll work out much like their Ravenloft product -- a single adventure with peripheral references to the larger, uncovered universe.

Planescape fans will be disappointed, I'm sure. It won't bother me much, though, since I've already used a plot between Mystra, Paladine, and Moradin to destroy Sigil in my campaign.

We Planescape fans can speak for ourselves.

Personally, if they did "only an adventure", as long as it's the level of quality their adventures have been lately, this Planescape fan would be very happy about it. The best part of Planescape is the setting fluff and that's rather edition neutral. If they add Planescape to the approved DM's Guild campaign settings, I would ecstatic!

No, I didn't. Where does it say that? My guess is it'll just be a game guide with hints and tips and all that.

So, looks like not only is this a Planescape: Torment: Enhanced Edition it also involved Chris Avellone working on it. The original lead designed on Torment worked on the remaster, count me jazzed.
