Henry: nice quote

Inmonkeys: you've had some good stuff in your robo-blog. Keep...allowing gleemax to use you that way...(?)

The short teleport reminds me a bit of the Shadow Jaunt (??) from Bo9S. It allows a "jump" through the shadows of 50'. It's a 2nd level maneuver, meaning you can get it at 3rd level.

Or it could be like that alternate power you swap your familiar out for from PHB2 (I think?). Swift 10' jaunt 3 times/day.

That's some sort of specialist variant, I think.
There's also a spell in Spell Compendium (I think), called benign transposition (I also think), that's 1st level (boy, do I think a lot), wich allows some sort of teleport... and a Reserve feat (though it required 4th level spells) that lets you teleport 5 ft per spell level...

Have we read about any PCs dieing, or even being close to dieing (other than this one down to 2 hps)? I mean, damage when missing, healing all over the place...is there even risk anymore?

No, because if your character dies, that isn't KEWL!!!!11!!1ONE111!

Yup. Just making the PC's THINK they're all going to die, yet pull through, is important to happy gaming. Too easy and it's a cakewalk; too hard and they get discouraged.

Hopefully none of the PCs will read this thread, then.

So you can short jump teleport at short distances? Did I remember correctly that AoOs were disappearing or getting modified? Here's why. You don't have to move through the intervening spaces. It sounds cool, I have to admit. But we are now definitely not in the Shire Bilbo.
