Struck by a peculiar thought: would a duskblade who acts as a cleric (i.e. gets cure spells and some limited offensive spells from the cleric list) be too powerful? You’d be better vs. certain creatures (i.e. Undead using the touch cure spells channeled through your weapon) but have a lower damage output overall in exchange for some curative powers.
Specifically would you be more powerful than a cleric? (A high bar I realize)
To my mind it would be an easy way to create a more damage oriented holy crusader type AND without the “paladin baggage” (Alignment restrictions, what-do-we-do-with-the-mount, etc).
