Would it be possible to get a news prefix in the off-topic forum?

One of frequent habits of the new immigrants from the WotC forums is to post and discuss news articles. As it is nothing quit covers it, so it would be nice to get a prefix for it.

Well, everything is news, isn't it? Better, I think, to have a range of prefixes for the actual subjects - science, movies, what-have-you, with "General" for the occasional oddball that doesn't fit.

Are there any particular subjects that come up that we could use a prefix for?

We had a habit of sharing weird news and other articles. Many of which do not fit into the other categories, like the autobrewing syndrome articles that two of us independently ran across. And of course it is possible to have a news prefix and the other prefixes as well.

Yep, news stories have been shared in the media lounge for years.

My point was that our General tag is pretty much exactly what you're looking for, just under a slightly different name. If it helps, think of it as "General News".

I did consider a "Weird" tag at one point for really oddball stuff.

That particular news bit would also have fit under our "Science" tag.
