Thus, since there's no support for what it means or what they mean it to mean, you can cross it out without losing a beat. :p

You go by the default if not otherwise stated: ie. "Mmm, tastes just like chicken!" ;)

But at that point, all it means is that you aren't dodging as well as you would be, once you're "ready."

A character with Uncanny Dodge and Combat Reflexes, on the other hand, is pretty much immune to "flat-footed."
