Er, what? The WoW RPG Hunter class is very different from the D&D Ranger class. Sure, the concept is similar (a warrior who is at home in the wilderness), but in terms of game mechanics the two have almost nothing in common.

Yeah but honestly even though D&D names aren't always used it's not like WC made that much strides in distancing themselves from D&D. I mean honestly other than magic working different, it's pretty much a D&D world. Just on a much vaster scale and power rating at times.

Agreed. The hunter is nothing like its ranger counterpart.
 

Something I would like to know is, does the book attempt to change the craft rules to resemble the professions in the MMRPG at all?

If it does (and does it reasonably well), I would be seriously tempted to pick it up.

No I'm right and your wrong :p ...okay give me a break...I havn't read the book all that thoroughly
