I think that Canonfire is a great Greyhawk site that will continue to get better as more material flows in. It is a site that I visit regularly. Keep up the good work everyone!

I do have a Greyhawk timeline I created combining four or five others that I have found and info from the LG. Right now I have 16 pages of small fonted happeneings and wonder if anyone is interested in it.

Grodog's announcement is slightly misleading in regard to the participation of the greyhawk 'pros'. A huge bulk of the articles are authored by regular old fans, like myself (16 or 17 articles there are mine ).

Sorry, I hadn't meant to be misleading, just enthusiastic Most of the 167 articles are fan-submitted, but I thought I'd mention some of the name-level contributors, since most Greyhawk fans will be familiar with their work (which doesn't invalidate the value of the efforts of soon-to-be-more-famous Greyhawk fans, either, btw).

I know that Gary Holian is working on the idea of message boards that will port to and from the Greytalk listserv, but that's a ways off.

I just wanted to say that I like the site too and joined soon after I found it, though I don't visit it as often as I should.

I think it's a great resource which has given my more than a few idea for MC. If fact the NPC 'Spear of Iuz' gave me an idea to create a fallen Paladin/Blackguard from the Shield Lands who will soon become a major nemesis for my group. I still have a little background to work on and I also have to create a holy artifact which I'm going to call the 'Shining Shield'. Maybe I'll post it one day on the site, it depends on how he comes across with my group.

As I said I find the site inspiring.

Lord Dorag, the Spear of Iuz, is one of my favorites too. Dorag is originally mentioned in Iuz the Evil, but the devilishly handsome and wonderful writer of the Canonfire piece took him in a slightly different direction, giving him a reason to be hated by the people of Furyondy. Lord Dorag ended up being a major threat in my campaign for a number of years.

Now if that incredibly talented writer would just get around to submitting the material on Myserun, Lord Dorag's undead squire, the package would be complete. The writer better get on the ball!
