You're Mr.Sinister? Well that explains a lot actually. ;)
Watch it. I can only take so much compliments in one day.

The "hanging by the toes" scenes, yes.

Maybe I'm sinister, but I honestly do not want to see Alan Cumming, aka Nightcrawler, come back.

Nightcrawler was my favorite part about the 2nd movie... he's always been my favorite, comics, cartoons, etc. Even if they changed him up a little, I still dug him. Not a fan of Alan Cumming at all, but he did the part well, so why change?

Probably because I was pissed off by his comment in SCI-FI WIRE long ago, and I still have that grudge.

I'm curious about the comment, myself.

Now, on the DVD interviews, he was quite opposed to doing a sequel unless lots of money was thrown at him. Didn't like the makeup, hated the dialogue, etc. I got the feeling he felt offended by being in a comic book movie... so, while I love the character, I'd rather he didn't come back.

Alan Cummings? The guy who graced screens in gems such as The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas or Goldeneye (who can forget his catchphrase: "I am INVINCIBEL!")? Embarassed of being in X2?

Wouldn't be the first time an actor has hated a certain genre, even though they've played far more ridiculous roles. ;)
