If someone uses an internet translator and then figures out what the translation means(I've never seen a good internet translator yet) he deserves to know it.
I've chosen german and not danish or swiss german or italian or french or one of those other few languages because a. Darklone who wanted to know it gave germany as his location and b. because noone would understand swiss german, because almost no germans speak french, but some americans do and because I can only understand danish(+flamish and swedish as they are similiar) and italian, not really write/speak them.

But I'll give you the english version probably within a few days (and the swiss german if you insist 8).

Google's German to English translator worked just fine for me.

I'm sorry if I offended you in some way there James. I didn't want to post all my advantages to have them sold to wholesale to the group. Too late!

No one else's characters have to post all their tricks. And like I told Azrael, I don't want to face an arena full of the same character (or characters with so many of the same abilities that they react the same).

I also fear it means anything else new I try over there will get disected and investigated until it can be sold for parts as well. (Didja see all the money people are making off of Luo? ) But I definately wasn't trying to come off as condescending.. Well, Luo is, but that's just the persona I'm playing for him.

Anyways, sorry if I stepped on a nerve somewhere.

It wasn't you. Its Sacrusha. He/she generally has the demeanor of one who thinks they know more than you. Coupled with the way he/she tries to give out tidbits of information in a "I'm better than you" manner, and it gets a bit annoying. But that's ok, and hell, its hard to read tone on the internet, so I could be completely wrong about him/her. Its just easier for me to ask others than it is to put up with an attitude like that.

While you're over there, check out the Exodus arena too. Its ECL 25 gladiators, but much less stuff is allowed than at Valhalla.

If we'd used our Contingency rules instead of Valhalla's, and if Odin hadn't cheated by reading people's character sheets and using that information in the battle, it would have been a much different fight. But that little fiasco was just Odin's way of killing one of Pax's characters. He proved that when he shut the whole thing down after Eilendra dropped.

And I'm still waiting for my character submission to be entered. Hell, there have been at least 5 new characters let into the arena since I submitted mine. I figure I'll give them another week and then to hell with it. It's not like I'm using a lot of crazy stuff either. I certainly couldn't kill anyone on round one without some major luck. Unlike quite a few other characters over there.

Hey wraith8, think about how you said that low-level and epic arenas all boil down to initiative. Then go back and look at the last 20 fights at both Exodus and Valhalla, and tell me which arena has more wins in round one.

We've got several characters in the works, but the holiday has caused a bit of a slowdown. And then there's the yutzes who ask to join and then never actually make a character, instead just posting a couple of times in OOC Chat and then leaving.
