(YB) Spider defeats the Bright Necromancer! (Monster Zero judging; strategy)

[Monster Zero]

One of Monster Zero's heads has fallen asleep, so the center head gives it a nudge.

Spider's Hand

1: The hammer shreds the prairie; leaps underneath the motion of the venom!

2: The twisting chimera rides atop the canyon; silences the gaze of the flame!

3: The mace prances upon the glacier; dominates the slash of the bird!

4: The ki-rin slides near the atoll; wards off the violence of the grave!

5: The turtle slashes the orchard; grasps the edge of the tides!


Bright Necromancer's Hand

1: The crane spins upon the vineyard; blocks the cut of the spring!

2: The lizard crushes the waterfall; protects against the drive of the ledge!

3: The tiger tumbles below the clouds; negates the energy of the fortification and so it flips near the slash of the farm!

4: The mantis punches the ravine; shields the motion of the elements!

5: The spear appears over the tundra; aggresively dominates the touch of the cave!

 

[Jeph]

The lizard crushes the waterfall; protects against the drive of the ledge!

As onlookers watch, the necromancer blends into the air around him, like an expertly camoflauged lizard. Then, from far above, a torrent of energy is released, blasting down towards Spider with the force of a waterfall!

 

[Ciaran]

Spider leaps forward beneath the spray of venomous energy! Slipping on a pair of clawed gloves, he closes in on the Bright Necromancer to batter him with his powerful fists.

Almost to close to call. But Spider's move wins out!

[Ciaran]

Spider waves cheerfully to the applauding spectators. One of the onlookers tosses him a shiny yen coin; quick as a snake, he snatches it out of the air. Then, after bowing to the judge, he hurls down a small object that bursts with a flash of light and releases a billowing cloud of smoke! When the smoke clears, Spider is nowhere to be seen.

(Spider gains one yen from his Profiteer ability.)
