Most used: Expanded Psionics Handbook (because I am playing a kalashtar psion in Eberron and run Dark Sun games).
Least used: Rifts (because it isn't even mine, it was a gift, I have never opened it, it just sits on my shelf, what? what is the problem?)
Most Used: The Complete books.
Least Used: Dozens... I own so many RPG books that I've only ever looked at once.
But then I'm a collector.
I also own many books that I've read more than once purely as entertainment. After The Bomb (single volume reprint) by Palladium is one of my favorites.
Answering the question literally, as in "get the most use out of", not "have gotten the most use out of overall", and "book" as opposed to "books" in each case. . .
Most used d20 book, other than core 3 (currently): Arcana Evolved (constant use)
Least used d20 book, other than core 3 (currently): Manual of the Planes (not opened, let alone read, let alone used)
Most: Monster Manual II & Exp Psionics Handbook
Least: Stormwrack (it's a very good book - I just haven't run a sea based adventure in a long while. Someday.)
I also own many books that I've read more than once purely as entertainment. After The Bomb (single volume reprint) by Palladium is one of my favorites.
After the bomb was lovely - Road Hogs was great too. I played them both into the ground in HS - only read them for nostalgia since then, although it took a fair amount of serching to find them again.
Most Used - Draconomicon
Least Used - MMII - I have used more creatures from MMIII (which I don't own)
and the 1st ed MMII, (converted by enworlders)
Exactly. Manual of the Planes is part 4 of the core rules in my game. Deities & Demigods is useless. Once I thought there was a neat domain in there, but when I looked it wasn't there. I had forgotten the cardinal rule: I wasted my money on Deities and Demigods. (If only it was 1E with the Cthulu mythos.)
