Your D&D Pedigree

Just for fun, what edition did you start with, and what is the series of editions that you've played? I'll start, so you can see what I mean:

--------
Moldvay
1st ed.
Mentzer
2nd ed.
[hiatus]
3.0
1st ed. again
3.5
[hiatus]
---------

I played Menzter and 2e the longest. I still have a soft spot for Moldvay, being as that was my first. :) I'm probably going back to Mentzer, if time and circumstances ever permit.

D&D 3.0
(WoT d20)
(Star Wars d20 - unrevised)
(d20 Modern)
D&D 3.5

Edit: I bought the 3e monster manual with an eye for converting the monsters therein to GURPS, and then ended up buying the DMG and PHB to figure out why things in Baldur's Gate II worked the way they did... Didn't help that they removed THAC0, kits, and such...

Since I'm not too sure on the proper titles, a picture will be worth a thousand words...

That's my gaming in a nutshell

Only my D&D pedigree.
Introduced to AD&D1e by my brother in 1989, just before 2nd edition hit, had no idea what I was doing.
Got my 2e PHB for my ninth birthday in 1990. Played in my brother's campaign.
1991 First became a DM when I was 10, playing the Mentzer Red box and soon after the Black Box "The new easy to learn D&D game.
1995 Got seriously into playing and running AD&D 2nd edition with my high school group.
Summer 2000 Got the 3.0 PHB with my winnings from my first trip to a casino. (on the 25¢ slots no less.) Started my first long-term campaign with all my gaming friends, as I was the first in the area to have the book.
2003 3.5 revision, ran my first campaign adventures that I wrote while on a archaeological field school in Siberia.
Currently on 5th set of PCs from my same homebrew campaign world.

The Future?
D&D 3.5 revised Core or much later 4th edition (if it blows me away, otherwise I think I'll become one of the 3rd edition grognards, which we know are coming.)

"D&D Only" Pedigree

1976-1978 OD&D (and sporadically thereafter)
1977-1984 AD&D (started with integration of the MM and just kept going)
1985-present Highly House-Ruled / Bastard Child of "D&D"
2006-present learning about BD&D and 3.xe but not playing these editions

Edit: To Include Non-D&D RPGS as the thread seems to be going that way.

1974-1977 Squad Leader (inlcuded because we made up rules for the squad leaders to
improve as they survived campaigns, and for american ones to turn into
heroes)

First Started by Time Period
1978-1984

The Fantasty Trip
Call of Cathulu
Gamma World
Top Secret
Bushido
Aftermath
Dragonquest

If we ever played the Basic D&D game, I don't remember it. I don't recall seeing it before 1E came out (though we were kinda-sorta playing 1E before it was all out, since the books were released one a year). We never used Skills and Powers.
