Personally, I like the Warforged and the Killoren. Somehow I managed to despise the names, though. I find the Elans interesting, but I can't put my full support behind them, for some reason.

Kenku are way cool and don't have to be east asian either.

I have in my Polynesian area where their native habitat is cliff caves overlooking the sea. I love the image of masses of them crawling out over the cliffs and then some of them suddenly leaping off and soaring out to attack approaching ships

Kenku will play a role in my gameworld. They and the raptorans are going to absolutely hate each other.
