Ice Pirates

I got Ice Pirates from Blockbuster on a whim when I was a teenager...and there was a dicey few moments that I worried I had actually started watching a porno flick with my parents. Turned out, no, it was just really low quality filmmaking without any sort if payoff at any level.

I'm not even sure these really need much explanation. Often overlooked good sci-fi.

Took a survey of my son and four friends (8th-11th grade) at the weekly gaming group - they did nominations, voted for a top 5 each, and then tried to break the tie for fifth place and failed.

Black Hole - Saw it when it came out as a pre-teen and apparently blotted out the end. Had fond memories of it and so saw it for the second time a couple years ago again. I now have memories of having fond memories of it.

The Black Hole made my list. I still have the pop up box from the 80s and let my kids read it.
